Joshua, There is a reference in AFMAN 36-2032 which is the accessions and recruiting Reg that does talk about the 42nd birthday for Line Officer accessions: It reads:
5.4.7.4.1. Line officer (non-JAG) appointments, not to exceed the applicant’s 42nd
birthday.
Waiver Authority is:
5.4.7.4.1.3. NGB/A1PO, for persons who apply for an ANG…

OTS options for other than Pilot
If there is interest to join the military outside of a flying or even in a flying gig (Pilot, WSO, RPA or ABM), I can introduce a session to discuss those jobs with some former Officers. Let me know if you are interested to learn more about other Officer positions out there!

I really enjoyed the insight to the AD recruiting process from an officer’s perspective, since my experience has only been with the enlisted recruiters themselves.
