USAFA- 44%
ROTC-48%
OTS- 8%
This changes from year to year, but you can see the lions share of slots go to the Academy and ROTC units.
That changes from year to year, so I am constantly tuning…
C.J. and mackenzie-mooreOne of the things that I advise clients on often is a multi-tiered approach when applying to Rated Line Officer Boards for Active Duty Air Force. The paperwork and prep-work (medically) is basically the same between the different organizations and time is your biggest enemy. Get all the appointments done prior to your first application window,…

Sean,
Awesome to have you. Sounds like you have a decent plan. As far as your rushing different squadrons, you may want to expand your horizons when you get closer to the date. As you will find, once you have a good AFOQT score, and a good combined PCSM score, you may rush several units before you get an interview.Remember that you won’t need…

Coma and C.J.Favorite WWII Pursuit or Fighter aircraft?
Post a picture here of your favorite WWII Pursuit Aircraft.
My favorite is the gull wing F-4U.
The TV series Baa Baa Black Sheep was likely a heavy influence on this memory.

BenSo this bird flew through our airport from East Coast headed to California. She is a beauty!
Ben, C.J. and 8BallDid you know on Active Duty there are opportunities to go on Exchange with other countries and other services? I had the unique opportunity to serve with the Royal Australian Air Force for three glorious years. They flew the F-18F (and later EA-18G) and I was one of two exchange officers that flew from the United States with 1SQN at Amberley.…
QUEST, Allen and 5 others1 CommentThe exchange tour opportunities are a big reason why I decided to step on the Active Duty Gas Pedal. I would love to fly the EA-18G at NASWI or imbed with another nation’s aviators if given the opportunity!
