Here’s a slate of the latest FY23 (ended in October of last year) statistics on Pilot Slots per accession source for Active Duty Line Officer Accessions.
USAFA- 44%
ROTC-48%
OTS- 8%
This changes from year to year, but you can see the lions share of slots go to the Academy and ROTC units.

Some examples that I saw somewhat often that could stop or pause your application:
-Drug or DUI convictions. Possession of an illegal substance, DUI (alcohol or other issue) or other items that are in a police record.-Financial issues, Collections or Bankruptcy since age 18.

The exchange tour opportunities are a big reason why I decided to step on the Active Duty Gas Pedal. I would love to fly the EA-18G at NASWI or imbed with another nation’s aviators if given the opportunity!
