I would recommend putting as much info as you can to sell yourself in the best possible light. Like you mentioned, certain things are either too detailed to merit real estate on your resume.

I’ll second what most others here have said. I know many units that allow potential candidates to rush anytime. I don’t think it’s ever too early to start building these connections. Does it make sense to wait until getting a sponsorship from a squadron before filling out paperwork for MEPS or filling out the paperwork for the next pilot board? I would strongly recommend waiting for sponsorship for your chosen method of military entry before filling out MEPS paperwork. Whether you are hired at a guard/reserve unit or go for an active duty pilot slot, that organization will present the MEPS paperwork for you at the appropriate time in that process. DM me if any…

For what it’s worth, I worked with a Reserve recruiter and they sent me to MEPS in between my AFOQT and the TBAS. I’m not sure if that was normal, but it was nice to clear it just to know there were no basic medical issues. There is no commitment for doing the commissioning physical at MEPS, you’re not sworn in or anything of the sort.
