Typically your sponsoring unit should pay for that. You wouldn’t go until after you got picked up for UPT spot.

I’m curious as to how other applicants/ sponsored members are getting their IFC1 done? Is your sponsoring unit paying for it? Are you getting until your part of the 340th to have it paid for? If you’re already enlisted is your current unit funding it with annual training funds?

Find the phone number of the education center at the base you want to test at. Keep calling and ask to be directed to the AFOQT POC. At Luke AFB, she was a civilian contractor.
