Any AFOQT study tips?

Hey Bogie Dope, I am a freshly graduated 21-year-old looking to get an Air Force Reserve pilot slot at a unit based here in my hometown. I have my PPL and instrument rating. I am studying for the AFOQT, but I keep hitting a wall and am not sure what being "Ready" looks like. Any tips on how I can optimize my studying and also what to focus on (especially math-related) would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi connor.mcelmurry - BogiDope Pro members have a lot of AFOQT prep features available:

  1. Unlimited access to the AFOQT Wingman app (practice tests with tips and tricks built in)
  2. Block 3 of the Pilot Pathway is dedicated to test prep content
  3. There are several recorded webinars in the Video Vault from our in-house AFOQT tutoring expert , Jeff Tutor-Gunboss including several specifically focused on math-related sections
  4. Jeff does two live webinars a month (one covers a specific subject and one is "open office" time where you can hop on and ask any questions you have). For this month, these are scheduled for Sep 9th and 16th.
  5. There is a [Pro] AFOQT Prep group that allows you to ask a question to Jeff any time
  6. Finally, Jeff is available for 1-on-1 tutoring to help you work through whatever specific subjects you want to focus on

Good luck!
