Launching BogiDope 2.0
Hi everyone - You may be noticing a lot of changes to the site and to your accounts. We are currently in the process of migrating, integrating, and launching the new BogiDope. There's a ton of data to move over to the new system while also trying to sync accounts with the new MilRecruiter that we launched last week. We're working to get it all hooked up as quickly as possible and will provide updates throughout the day.
Don't be surprised if you temporarily lose access to a feature you previously had as we go through this migration process. That's just a normal part of this process. Once we think it's good to go, I'll ask you to check your individual accounts for errors and provide any feedback. Until then, feel free to take a quick tour.

Quick update - We're in the middle of refining the new Single Sign On process, which allows you to only manage one account/login/password for both BogiDope and MilRecruiter. If you previously had a MilRecruiter account, use that email and password to log in (it replaced your BogiDope login info).

raefe@hotmail.com Yes, everything should sync between the two sites. Those are the details we're working out now. Once the sites are talking to each other properly, we'll reapply everyone's permissions to update everything to the new tiers/permissions.

Evening update - We've successfully created the pathway to access the new MilRecruiter job board, directory and all of your application information from the links on top of this page without having to log into MilRecruiter separately. Try it out! (Might sound trivial, but this connection opens the door to a lot of new features we've been waiting on).
The account permissions are still syncing. We started this morning and so far it's sync'd ~2,400 out of 5,200. The hamsters are running as fast as they can in the machines, so I appreciate your patience.

Morning update - Several bugs fixed overnight. The account migration is currently at 3900 of 5200, so getting closer. There have been a few cases where the bots didn't migrate permissions over perfectly, so you may have access to some stuff but not all. Any paid member should have access to ALL content on this new site, so please check your accounts and let me know (via help ticket) if your access is unexpectedly restricted anywhere. These are usually quick fixes.
Back to swashing bugs, but I'll provide another update this evening.
SLAP One thing I noticed (and this may just be a one off issue) is that my message history disappeared. I reactivated my account a day or so before the 2.0 migration and they were there, but not now. New site looks great though!
jacob.kilian Although the new BogiDope platform has major upgrades in speed and integration with MilRecruiter, there were some limitations in what content we could migrate over (messages being one). The biggest loss was the legacy forums. We were able to migrate the community activity feed posts, but the forum data wasn't compatible with the new site. We're going to try to reignite those conversations in the new community as quickly as possible, so please post any questions you have so we can kick off the conversation.
Today's update - The migration is finally complete! Now that all of the accounts are in the system, we're going through to check everyone's permissions. If you had a paid membership before this migration, or purchased a new membership after the migration, you should have access to everything. It'll take some time to audit everyone's account permissions, but if you need to access something immediately, don't hesitate to send us a help ticket, and we'll look into your account individually.
I'll report back once the audit is complete...
P.S. We're also getting the final touches set up for opening the 2026 Bootcamp registration. Expect that to go live early next week.
Morning update - we did a bulk push of permissions yesterday. If you have any sort of paid membership, you should now have unrestricted access to both BogiDope and MilRecruiter. Please check your accounts and send us a help ticket to address any permission issues.
Since the new BD update, I’ve lost access to my previous profile, my active subscription, and my interview prep course. My subscription was valid through the end of August, but I’m currently unable to view any of that content. Additionally, my profile now shows only 80% completion, even though it was fully completed before the update. It also shows that I no longer have any connections or previous DM conversations. Is there a way to restore or regain access to what was lost during the update?
