Mildly silly due date question...
I am seeing that the 199th FS has an application deadline for August 1st, does that imply that it needs to be in by midnight tonight on July 31st, or by the end of August 1st tomorrow?
Sorry for such a silly last minute question- I'm having an issue with my last letter of reccomendation I didn't manage to pick up on until earlier this week, and the writer won't be able to correct it for me until tomorrow morning on the 1st.
I'm just wondering if I should just proceed with my two LoR's I have right now or not?

Not a silly question! I am wondering the same thing- do the due dates listed mean due BY or due ON said date?
Good morning RN_Jack hannahcurnow! You can safely assume that the "Application Deadline" is the last day to apply so you're application needs to be submitted by the end of today, August 1st.
Moving forward, I highly encourage you to submit applications a few days early for two reasons: 1. You may realize a mistake was made and it gives you the chance to self-correct and 2. The squadron may review applications early and if they notice something, it gives them a chance to reach out with questions so you can clarify/fix any issues.
Do absolutely everything you can to meet the application requirements...but if you only have two LOR's I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to "hit submit" and see what happens!

yeah every attempt was made to get it in faster but sadly there was a major file error in the letter copy I received so I’ve been waiting for my rerference to be available to resend it
