How can I make my application more competitive
You’ve pretty much got it all covered! Would strongly recommend attaching a picture and creating a binder any time you go in and rush so that people can not only pick up and read about you, but also put a name to a face.
If fighter units are what you’re interested in it’s really good to get out early and often as they tend to have significantly more rushees than heavy units do. It can take multiple hiring cycles before they have a spot open. So even if it’s “too early” right now, by the time you’re closer to finishing your degree, the timing might work out very well.

I need to schedule my first attempt for the TBAS asap, I will need to take the AFOQT later this year as I prepare. Seems like I need to first get in contact with a recruiter to schedule both. From what I read…
