Very useful info, Biggs. Thank you. I have a couple questions regarding all the training for guardsmen. I’m 39 and have the opportunity to be a part of the guard unit close to my house. It’s been a fruitful month for the BogiDope community, to say the least! Congrats to Vince A., who worked with me for some interview prep. Vince was recently selected as the first Alternate in DC. From the USAF ROTC FAQ page:
Do I have to join ROTC as a Freshman?
No, but cadets must participate in the program for at least three years in order to meet all Air Force ROTC graduation requirements.

Certainly! The schoolhouse is OKANG.
It will be interesting to see the ‘ops’ layout. There are a few ARC special ops wings – those wings might get OA-1Ks or the USAF might consolidate them in one or two bases. Elgin? Cannon? Davis Montham?
