UPT General Discussion-All questions UPT through RTU
Do you have any anecdotes of how those with wife and kids handled it? More specifically, I would like to spend time with the boys camping etc. on the weekends to strengthen those bonds but my thought is I would need to forego a few extra-curricular/recreational trips to be with wife/kid. Presumably there is a balance to be struck.

Rowan,
Actually a super relevant question. Especially for UPT/non-mil applicants. The data I have is from the CO ANG, so could be different elsewhere, but probably a good start. For rush events and zoom meetings (pre-interview events), business casual seems to be the standard. At the very least a collared shirt. For interviews, a suit…Howdy,
Boring etiquette question. When reaching out to units, is it best to do a standard quick intro email with cover letter and resume? And in general for any type of interfacing with units (zoom, rush events, interview, etc…) are suits the expected attire?
Thank you,
Rowan
