Several articles reporting this week that the T1 is rapidly being retired. Sounds like the intent is to move that training into the simulator as a cost-savings measure to free up more budget for the T-7A. What’s the effect on the pipeline? Hard to say but some upside potential that you might get into your follow-on aircraft sooner.

For context, this has happened before back in 2005-2010. What was true then appears to be true now:
– that the bad deals tend to fall hardest on the REGAF (active duty). Usually the ANG does a pretty good job of protecting it’s spots so the cuts come from allocations that REGAF pilots would have competed…

Yes sir! I think my prerogative going forward is, while I’m working full time, focus on physical and mental development to become a more attractive candidate and rack up flight hours.
