Understatement.
Pilot is okay, and the engineers will study the “significant[ly] danaged” F-35.
These things happen, we lost one F-16 a month in the 80’s. It will be interesting to see what they say went wrong.

Has anyone been turned down for attending their flight physical after selection? I am not in this boat yet, but a bit worried that it may happen. If so does anyone know if that is a hard stop and the is game over or is there more I can try to do?

It can happen. However, in my humble experience as a Sq/CC, the most-likely obstacle was simply a delay for acquiring a medical waiver, not an outright disqualification. Our medical pros on staff can probably provide specific information to your particular case.

Me niether, I’m actually a histoy major and my thesis was (no joke) a history of environmenist poetry.
Turns out we rarely use anything past 5th grade math. So yes you did learn everything you needed to know in elementary school

The 9X bat turn!
Its an amazing weapon. We get to lot test them sometimes and watching that missle do its thing is eye watering.
