Hey everyone!
My name is Devin Adams and currently on the hunt to get into a unit. I was born in Oklahoma, though I’ve bounced around quite a bit with an Air Force father and grew up predominantly in Pensacola, FL and Anchorage, AL around the Air Force. Enlisted into the Army (despite my father’s best efforts haha) out of high school and went…

I haven’t taken a Barron test yet, but all of the others (including those provided by Tutor Gunboss) do not count corners that touch. First I’ve heard that to be honest.

funny thing is, I didn’t even know about alert until my last drill when one of the guys from my shop took me their to go get some work done and also check it out. definitely something I am glad I learned about; its so sick.

When in the process should we expect to take the height/weight test? I am on track to be at least 5 lbs under max weight for my height when I take the AFOQT and TBAS, but I have been hearing conflicting information on when we get the measurements taken. Thank you!
QUEST-
Got ahold of my Recruiter, tracking AFOQT and TBAS are first, expect to get the measurements taken at MEPS after.

CJ, I am glad that they worked that for you; That is pretty typical. Height and weight are done during the MEPS medical. Do your best to be under and stay under weight. Recruiters usually work with their applicants to keep them on a plan to stay under weight or stay over the minimums if you are near the bottom of the weight scale as well.

Hey Yall, I’ve been going through the Barron’s AFOQT study guide along with some others. It appears that there is some conflicting information regarding what classifies as blocks “touching”. Barron’s says that corners touching counts, whereas most other sources seem to only classify the face of blocks touching as counting. Somewhat confusing,… Read more

The C-17 is a crazy machine. The demo in person is amazing, the video doesn’t do it justice. But minute 6:00 when then land in like 18 ft and then throw it into reverse. Bonkers.

Alert (Airspace Contol Alert (ACA)) is a big part of the ANG mission. Being on status is something we take seriously but isn’t always as much fun as BFM over the ocean or a low-level through the mountains. This video ends up being mostly about CAP but has some interesting context, especially for DC.

This has to be one of the strangest dogfights and can’t even start to unpack everything that’s going on. But it’s crazy they caught it on camera. Appears to be a successful gun snap at…
