I’ve worked unsponsored AFRC as both a coach and as a hiring manager (before coaching).
Knowledge of the program is super variable amongst the ANG/USAFR units. The ANG hasn’t done a great job of educating units on the opportunity sponsorship offers. But there are a few units that will definitely sponsor candidates.
My recommendation is to have…

Hey folks,
I was looking to connect with someone who’s gone through the AFRC Unsponsored board process. The recruiter I’ve been working with mentioned it to me in passing, and I’ve read about it on MilRecruiter, but I’ve got some questions about actually finding a unit if you get selected unsponsored and how that process works.
Specifically: how…

Thank you! I appreciate that.
TBAS Scoring - Best Score or Latest Score?
@Alana I just sent in an email to try to track down an official answer for you.
The official reg that covers the AFOQT and TBAS is attached. It doesn’t clarify it one way or the other, so hopefully we’ll get an official answer for you soon.
@Pipes I have just finished a great SIFT overview and question frequency evaluation for the MST and MCT sections on the tests. Grab a tutoring spot and we can go over those and share the practice tests that I have available.

I think this is a great idea!
1. Topics could be far ranging, starting with an intro to BD and some success stories. Moving naturally to other interesting topics and current events (NGAD) could help as well.
2. Interviewing those who have had success, those going through the process, and seasoned vets would be a great way to round out the crowd.
