Rated Heavy Pilot to fighter/bomber
Hey guys, got a question that I have been wondering for awhile.
Does anyone know if a rated heavy pilot on the guard side can transition to fighters later in their career? I have family members that are heavy pilots and what I have always been told is that you’re a fighter/bomber guy you can always go heavies later, but it may be difficult or…

There really is no way to ‘request’ XPW prior to showing up to UPT. However, the way it has been going lately is that every XPW class will have 3-4 Guard/Res and 2-3 Active spots. Does anyone have some good gouge on how to sign up for the AFOQT? I have a Client who is having challenges getting a recruiter to call him back.
Has anyone used an AFROTC detachment to take the test? Or a MEPS location?
Thank you for your help!

I am having the same issues. I’ve reached out to two recruiters through calls, texts, and emails with no luck. We had a great discussion last AFOQT test prep about the way some people have scheduled tests, it seemed everyone had issues with recruiters. The best way everyone seemed to find was to contact the education center at the…
1Great info, Phillips! Thanks for sharing! I’ll look into it! D.J.
