Thanks for the reply! To clarify, my corrected vision is 20/20. The surgery is not risk free and my eyes are otherwise healthy. My eyes pass the AF uncorrected standards, so, aside from being unnecessary for the AF, it would set me back 6 months and another medical check which is dicey since I am already 32 and have active AF opportunities in…

Got selected for a pilot slot with a Reserve squadron and they’re working on putting my UPT package together for the upcoming UPT board. How long after the board convenes does it take to know whether or not you got the slot? Then what’s next? Super stoked, but now it seems like hurry up and wait lol…

@MANDO_ Congrats! Here’s a quote from the AFRC UFT Handbook: “Board results are usually released at or near the end of the month in which the board convened.”
