AFOQT Contacts and Scheduling Trouble in San Diego
I reached out to them not too long ago, and that sounds familiar. I’ll send another email tomorrow and see where that takes me. I appreciate it!

AFOQT Contacts and Scheduling Trouble in San Diego
Hi Edan,
I agree with Randy’s comments regarding scheduling the AFOQT. I’m already a reservist at March so I was able to get a voucher code through their Education Office. For the TBAS, I recommend reaching out to the AFROTC detachment at SDSU. Let them know you want to schedule the TBAS with them and you can take it at their detachment. I had…

AFOQT Contacts and Scheduling Trouble in San Diego
Randy here. I recently received a voucher code from the Air Force Reserve Officer recruiter in Temecula. Im now waiting for my test results to get back to me; hopefully soon. If you get a voucher code from a recruiter, you can schedule the AFOQT at your discretion including the testing location. No need to go on base.
It took me about 4-months…

AFOQT Contacts and Scheduling Trouble in San Diego
Hey everyone,
I’m currently trying to schedule both my AFOQT and TBAS in the San Diego area, and I’m running into some dead ends. I was hoping someone here might have recent experience or contact info that could point me in the right direction. As far as the AFOQT, I know I’ll need a voucher code to schedule through Pearson VUE, but I’m not sure…

33, Active Duty, No Scores Yet. Mailing Every UPT Unit?
Happy to help! One last thing regarding the waivers, for a head start there I would take a look at MilRecruiter under the Board Result section. If you pull those PDFs, some of them actually list what units processed age waivers or ETPs for folks. Might give you somewhere to look for places that will consider one.
Best of luck!

Nole,
Thanks a lot for sharing this. That’s exactly the kind of feedback I’ve been looking for and it helps more than you know.
Your approach makes a ton of sense. I’m definitely planning to reach out with more tailored emails once I’ve got my scores locked in. Right now, I’m studying for the AFOQT and planning to take both that and the TBAS…

33, Active Duty, No Scores Yet. Mailing Every UPT Unit?
Smack,
Thank you for the advice. What you said makes perfect sense, and I’ll adjust my strategy accordingly.
To answer your questions:
-
I’m currently active duty stationed at Eglin AFB, working as a 4A0X1 (Health Services Manager). I’ve been in for 5 years.
-
I haven’t scheduled the AFOQT or TBAS yet, but I’ve contacted my base education center to…

33, Active Duty, No Scores Yet. Mailing Every UPT Unit?
Hi Roberto,
I’m a current applicant, but can shine a bit of light here and piggyback off of Smack’s response above. When I started this process, I picked basically 10 units that were highly desirable to me, found their POC on MilRecruiter and then reached out to them. I tried to customize each email with why I was interested in that unit…
