The captial guardians get traded!
The 121st FS, long the DC ANG is being transfer to the MD ANG. According the article traded for the Washington Commanders and a bridge.
Sounds like very little will change for the 121st but the real story here is the closure of the 107th FS (A-10) near Baltimore.

Several Air Force pilots call it the “War Penguin” or “Battle Penguin” from back when it was constantly grounded for problems and operational test defects. No longer the case but the name stuck around.

@TStephens34 Thanks for the intro and congrats on your path to wings in the Reserve! I’ve worked with a handful of ROTC cadets who have shown a desire to transition their commitment to a UPT slot in the Guard or Reserve. Hopefully those in the community see this and reach out!
