I agree with SMAX’s perspective. The Air Force is no different than any other major civilian flying training operation (Part 121 Airlines being the biggest).
You want standardization across the community. I am sure that the IPT syllabus, as SMAX says, will continue to evolve and change. Some people will have more experience than others…

However, any new accessions (non-USAR rotary aviators) require an exception to policy from the Commanding General of Army Reserve Aviation Command and are not likely to be approved. Less of a discussion and more informational… All rotary wing U.S. Army Reserve Units are being disbanded. Thus, for rotary wing Army Aviation, only guard and active duty are options. I am still waiting on a full confirmation regarding USAR fix wing units but as of now, I believe they are still operational.

Less of a discussion and more informational… All rotary wing U.S. Army Reserve Units are being disbanded. Thus, for rotary wing Army Aviation, only guard and active duty are options. I am still waiting on a full confirmation regarding USAR fix wing units but as of now, I believe they are still operational.
